The Egyptian forward, known for his blistering pace, incredible finishing, and consistency, has now joined an elite group of players who have claimed the Premier League Player of the Season award more than once.
Cristiano Ronaldo, who achieved this feat with Manchester United in 2006–07 and 2007–08, is now joined by Salah, who previously won the award in 2017–18 and has now repeated the honour in 2024-25.
Salah also became the Premier League’s all-time top overseas scorer, surpassing Sergio Aguero’s 184 goals.
He has nearly matched the all-time assist record of 20 set by Kevin De Bruyne but he still has the chance to achieve that in the last match against Crystal Palace.
The Egyptian beat competition from Virgil van Dijk, Ryan Gravenberch, Declan Rice, and others to take home the award.
There have been very few players who won it multiple times, such as the likes of Thierry Henry, Nemanja Vidic, Cristiano Ronaldo, Kevin De Bruyne, and now Mohamed Salah.
